Where is this year going!?!...

Am I the only one wondering where this year has gone? It seems like only yesterday I was folding away the winter woollies and putting them to bed for their spring/summer hibernation.

Having the shop, I have to think about the changing seasons long before they arrive, With the gorgeous weather we have been having here in Somerset for the last couple of weeks I have quite forgotten that we are fast approaching the festive season, and only realising at the weekend that we are already half way through October, my Christmas stock ordering for the shop should of been done by now!
Having lay awake most of the night on Saturday worrying about this, I thought it essential that I spent today putting together the last of my orders.
So today has been mostly spent sat here, at my desk at home, flicking through catalogues and searching through websites picking out gorgeous gifts to fill the shop...

I have recently found a new company that sell the most scrummy scented candles, soaps and bath salts all made in the UK, I thought it would be great to introduce the new range into the shop in time for Christmas, so today I placed my first order and I cant wait for it to all arrive, here is a little taster of the things I'm having...

Isn't the packaging just gorgeous, and they smell just delicious! I know I would definitely be happy to have one of the candles or soaps in my stocking on Christmas morning!

I'm really looking forward to getting the shop ready for Christmas this year, I want to turn it in to a little winter wonderland, with twinkling fairy lights and the scent of cinnamon in the air as you come through the door...

Love & Hugs, Jennifer x

What a beautiful blog! And your shop!! If I am ever down your way, I will certainly drop in and indulge in a spot of vintage spending!! It is so lovely to know that there are little havens of scrumminess nestled between the modern, the dirty and the just plain ugly!!

I have added you to my blog list. :) TTFN Gemma x x

Your new stock choice looks gorgeous. I love this time of year for those of us lucky enough to have shops to stock. I had a box of new stock delivered yesterday that someone had gift wrapped!! Lots of lovely parcels all in gold paper in a great big box, it was just like Christmas for me, if only all wholesalers would do that!! Love your blog (and your shop).
